GETTING LICENSED

 NIPR AND SIRCON

  1. Visit www.nipr.com
  2. On left, select “Licensing & Renewal Application”.  Click on “Producer/Agent/Broker”.
  3. Under heading, select “Apply for  New License”.  Choose Resident or Non-Resident License.
  4. Under NRL Application, select “Apply for Resident/Non-Resident license”.
  5. Scroll to bottom of page and click “Accept”.
  6. This page starts the application process
  7. At “Resident State” use the drop down and select your resident state.
  8. At “License Type” click on the dot next to “Individual”.
  9. At “What do you want to do” select “Apply for a new Resident License or resume an existing application.”
  10. At “SSN or FEIN” enter your SSN#.
  11. Enter Last name at next box then click “Next”.
  12. The next page lists the lines of authority (LOA) you are eligible for. Select the LOAs needed, then click “Next”.
  13. Review your personal data and enter any data that may be missing, click on “Next” (anything with an * must be completed).
  14. At next page, enter your business information; underneath, you can enter your business address to be added to your record or select “Use Residential Address”.  Click on “Next”.
  15. If you have a different mailing address, enter it here, or use your resident or business address.  Select one and click on “Next”.
  16. Enter any Alias’ you may have used and click “Next”.
  17. Unless your corp is state licensed, you can skip affiliations section.  Scroll down and click on “Next”.
  18. Enter five years of employment history then click on “Next”.
  19. Answer all background questions following all instructions given, click “Next”.
  20. Read the Attestations and click “Agree”, then click “Next”.
  21. Enter an email address for a verification email, then click Next”.
  22. If you are the producer, select “Producer” then click “Next”. If you are an “Authorized Submitter”, complete all information, then click on “Next”.
  23. Fees are displayed; review and click on “Next”.
  24. Select method of payment

  4. Under NRL Application, select “Renew for Resident/Non-Resident license”.
  5. Scroll to bottom of page and click “Accept”.
  6. This page starts the application process.
  7. At “Resident State” use the drop down and select your resident state.
  8. At “License Type” click on the dot next to “Individual”.
  9. At “What do you want to do” select “Renew an existing license or resume an existing application.”

The rest of the process is the same as noted above.

  1. Quick Link for Agents.
  2. Select “Apply for a License”.
  3. Click on “Individual” next to “Resident or Non-Resident Application”.
  4. Enter your name and SSN.
  5. Select if you’re a “Producer” or “Authorized Submitter”.
  6. Select the state you are applying for.
  7. Select “Credit Card Payment”.
  8. Click “Continue”.
  9. Select the type of license you require.
  10. Select all the line of authorities that are needed.
  11. Verify all information and click continue through the rest of the pages.
  12. Enter payment information.

  1. Quick Link for Agents.
  2. Select “Renew or Reinstate a  License”.
  3. Select “Individual”.
  4. Click on Drop Down menu and select state.
  5. Enter name, SSN, resident license number.
  6. Click “Continue”.
  7. Select all Renewal boxes and Lines of Authority required; verify address.
  8. Click “Continue”.
  9. Enter in the required information.
  10. Answer the security questions.
  11. Complete the information as “Producer” or “Authorized Submitter”.
  12. Enter payment information.
